Pirates of the Curry-bean

Smiley man doing MJ's groin buster

Living in campus ain't easy. Like any other universities, we gotta fulfill some activities/ community service for the hall just to earn points to stay. Today we were sent to some event to help out with some shitty jobs (carrying tables, ushering guest, shaking balls and all that). I was quite pleased with our person-in-charge for their friendliness and hospitality. Unlike organisers who literally use their helpers like dogs, mine's the nicest i've found so far. Letting you eat whatever food you want that's available in the bazaar, drinks (my friend actually got himself a beer from them, for free!wth so beh pai seh!), and there's even time to actually slack! Because our event takes part in a yatch club, facilities like arcades room, gym and swimming pool are available for usage. So in between our job me and my friends took a swim. If it was other organisers, we would be screwed 180 degrees and inside out.Haha.
Later that, 7 of us were invited to join their buffet dinner in one of the function room, with our own table of course. Guess what was served tonight? North indian food! (Indian music plays in the background) Woo Hoo! Honestly i've been craving for indian food for yakazillion of years up to now. Was looking forward to head back to penang to hantam nasi kandar but i guess god somehow managed to bring them here. The masala chicken, briyani rice, assorted naan, papadoms and the star of the night, galum punani is simply mamamia! =)

The best has yet to come! Other than that, we were allowed to participate in their lucky draw contest. Among us, there's 4 out of 7 who walked out with a gift. And guess what i've got? 1 set of lamp berger perfume that cost $130, 65 times of lunch that is. One of my lucky friend got a motorola bluetooth headset, how cool is that! And one unlucky fler got a set of toys which he in the end gave it to some other kid. Haha. Felt sorry for June who never got anything. Well, we didn't churn out a single cent, so there's nothing more to complain.

Happy People

June: *Sigh*.I want that Spongebob Doll!

Albeit its a bit tiring(worked from 9am to 9pm), it was quite worth while thou. I'm ok with not getting paid cos it's fun working with a bunch of yer friends and spending good time at a good place. And gosh, it's been a long time since i've been into a banquet. Probably i might wanna consider working for that company as a part timer during hols, can help me patch a lil' bit of holes in my pocket =)

*Lits up Lamp Berger*

*The soul is soothen*

Our loot. *Jumps for joy!*
